Mause - XOR
Mause makes his npm debut with XOR, a four-track EP balancing analogue pressure with tightly controlled composition.
‘LocriLogAcid Seq’ opens in suspended motion, where soft melodic lines drift across slowly evolving acid sequences. ‘SeqTuningMlog Acid1’ sharpens the focus, introducing a more insistent pulse and warped 303 movement without losing its sense of restraint.
‘Strimsang [Baecon4]’ moves into more ambient territory, built from layered harmonies, shimmering pads and subtle rhythmic detail. Closing track ‘Sunday Multi Acid Seq20d’ returns to electro and acid techno, combining rolling percussion with restless resonance.
Across XOR, Mause shifts between hypnosis, drive and atmosphere with a clear, economical touch.
